Where do I start with music for my wedding ceremony?

First you need to decide what type of wedding ceremony you are having. Then you need to book the church or venue, officiant, date, and time of your wedding. From there, your officiant will put you in contact with a music director from the church or venue. During this process, you may contact me at any time to book your special day. I will help you design the perfect wedding program with beautiful music for your wedding ceremony. I will work with the music director from you church, or, if there is no music director, I will work directly with the officiant or other members of the church or venue to set up music for your wedding ceremony. Book me as soon as you know the date, time, and place of your wedding ceremony. We will begin by scheduling a consultation to go over your goals for your wedding ceremony music. We will then go on to choose wedding ceremony music, place that music within your wedding ceremony program, and decide whether we need other musicians. I stay in contact with brides throughout the entire wedding planning process to ensure that the wedding ceremony music is perfect and well planned out.

How do I book you for our wedding?

Simple! Just email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call me at 847-656-6136. We can put your wedding ceremony right onto my calendar and begin the customization process! I do require a contract and deposit to secure your wedding ceremony date and then we will schedule a consultation.

Can I pick any songs for my wedding?

Yes! You can pick any song you want for your wedding. If I don't already know it, I will learn it at no extra charge. Some churches have more strict rules about what can be sung during the actual ceremony. But most pieces can be incorporated somewhere during your wedding ceremony! Preludes are an excellent place for that Beatles tune that your mom loves or you and your fiance's favorite song. I am happy to customize your wedding ceremony music. I have done many traditional wedding ceremonies, as well as many ceremonies where the music consists only of favorite tunes or music that means something to the bride and groom's family and friends.

Will you meet with me to go over my wedding ceremony music and program?

I would be glad to do a consultation with you regarding the details of your wedding ceremony music. This can be done over the phone, by email, in person, or at a rehearsal.

Will you work with the music director from our church?

I will work with anyone from your church to make sure your wedding ceremony music is perfect. I have worked with music directors, church pianists, church organists, officiants, outdoor wedding planners, and many other members of churches, venues, families, and wedding parties to perfect the music of the bride and groom's special day.

Do you work with other musicians?

I have an excellent pianist that I work with who will accompany me on piano, organ, or keyboard, should the music director be unavailable for your day or should there be no music director at your church, venue, or outdoor wedding ceremony. I also am able to find many other reliable musicians to work with, should you desire a violinist, cellist, guitarist, or other musician.

Do you play the piano?

I do play the piano and am able to accompany myself during many songs that I know, as well as play many traditional piano pieces during your wedding ceremony ("Wedding March", "Bridal Chorus", "Canon in D", "Bach Arioso" etc.). If your budget is smaller, but you desire piano and vocals during your wedding ceremony, we can certainly work that out!

What are your fees?

Wedding Ceremony fees can range anywhere from $175 to $600 depending on the details of your wedding ceremony. Fees depend on the number of songs you would like sung or played during your ceremony, travel time to your wedding ceremony, extra rehearsals needed, and whether you need a pianist/organist for your wedding ceremony, as well. I work with an excellent pianist who would be happy to accompany me on piano, organ, or keyboard for indoor, outdoor, or any wedding ceremony venue.  Please contact me by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by phone at 847-656-6136 to request a quote for your wedding ceremony music. We will go through all the details of your wedding ceremony and exactly what the fees would be to design and perform a beautiful wedding ceremony program with perfect music for your special day. I am happy to work within your budget to ensure that choosing, placing, and performing beautiful music for your wedding ceremony is an enjoyable experience for you!

The quoted fee includes one wedding ceremony performance, as well as consultations regarding the details of your wedding ceremony music. Consultations can be over the phone, via email, or in person. I stay in touch with the brides throughout the entire wedding planning process to ensure that the music is prefectly chosen, placed, and executed. Please feel free to contact me at any time regarding music for your wedding ceremony.

I will learn your favorite song and help you to incorporate it into the perfect place during your wedding ceremony for no extra charge.

A signed contract and deposit are required to confirm your wedding ceremony date on my calendar.

What kind of style and music do you sing?

I sing opera, operetta, classical pieces, musical theater and showtunes, pop, jazz, country music, oldies, secular pieces, sacred pieces, and spiritual pieces. I will be happy to learn any other style of music you would like incorporated into your wedding ceremony in any language.

Do you do full Catholic masses?

I sure do! I have many psalms and sacred music in my repertoire and am myself Catholic. I also know many contemporary Christian pieces. I can work with your music director, church cantor, or I cantor and sing during your wedding ceremony myself!

Do you sing at any type of wedding ceremony?

Absolutely! You name the time and place and I will be there! I have sung at many types of wedding ceremonies: Catholic, Christian, cermonies performed all in Spanish, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbytarian, indoor, outdoor, ballrooms, and many more.

Will you sing my favorite song?

If I don't already know your favorite song, I will learn it at no extra charge and help you to place it perfectly in your wedding ceremony!

Have you performed at many wedding ceremonies?

I have been singing at wedding ceremonies for over 15 years. I have done many types of weddings in many different venues. I am always happy to try new things, if unfamiliar with your type of wedding ceremony.

Will you need a rehearsal at the church?

I do not need to rehearse at the church if the music director is comfortable with the music choices, but a rehearsal usually makes everyone feel more comfortable. I can make a trip to meet the music director, or I can come early to the reahrsal night. If there is no music director for your church or venue, I have an excellent pianist that I work with for an extra fee and we do not require a rehearsal, though we might come early the day of the ceremony to ensure piano placement and mic system.

How far will you travel?

My pianist and I both travel throughout Illinois to do wedding ceremonies. We  have also traveled to nearby states for wedding ceremonies. Distance does incur extra fees based on travel time. Email me with your location and I would be happy to give you a quote on singing at your wedding ceremony!

Do you require contracts to be signed?

I have a performance contract on this website and it is required with a deposit to confirm your wedding ceremony date. You can copy it from my website and mail it to me. Or I can mail it or email it to you to be returned.

Do you require deposits?

I do require a deposit of half the total fee to secure your wedding ceremony date. The remaining balance is due before the ceremony starts on your wedding day or any time before that.

What is your cancelation policy?

If the wedding ceremony is cancelled for any reason, the deposit is non-refundable, but the remaining balance will not be due. If the musicians cannot attend the wedding ceremony on a very rare occasion due to severe illness, family tragedy, or hospitalization, a full refund will be issued immediately and every attempt possible will be made to find replacement musicians for your wedding ceremony.

Please email me or call me with ANY other questions or concerns you have. I am always happy to talk through questions and concerns and work with you on issues such as budget and performing with other musicians. I look forward to working with you!!
